According to the Open Doors 2007 report / survey, published by the Institute of International Education (IIE) a vast majority of the international students studying in the United States chose to study in a Business and Management related program of study followed by Engineering and Physical and Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Mathematics and Computer Sciences related programs. The survey noted that the largest growth in the enrolment was experienced in English as a Second Language field.
